‘So much potential’ – Man Utd, PSG linked star gets high praise from Gary Neville

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško decided to stay with the German team when he signed a new contract. The young striker turned down several clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, who were all linked with the player.

The Slovenian striker scored 18 goals and registered two assists in 42 games for Germany last 2023-2024 season. As a result, the list of suitors came in for him before he finally made his decision.

Nevertheless, after one UEFA Euro 2024 match, English football expert Gary Neville gave his verdict on the player who will attract more attention from top clubs next summer.

“Goals, youth (why he’s so impressive) physicality, I think we’re going back to having big strikers up top – the game seems to have turned towards having big strikers,” Neville said (h/t The Mirror).

“He has so much potential, you can see why Premier League clubs want him and why he will stay in Leipzig for another year, to grow without the spotlight you would have in the Premier League and to take your game a little bit further to develop.” .”

Šeško and Slovenia secured a 1-1 draw against Denmark on matchday 1 and the player almost scored an impressive goal that went off the post. Nevertheless, from a PSG perspective, they can see what they have in Gonçalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani.

If one or neither impresses, the Parisians may reconsider their interest in Šeško next year.
