In other news, series winner Christmas has responded to a backlash over her win after some accused the show of a “fix” given the singer’s West End past.

“I’m new to all the attention. (The rumors about the fix are) just not true,” she told Metro.co.uk. “Everything has been sincere and I have said my truth, so when I say it isn’t, it leaves me with questions. There is nothing that breaks my heart more than seeing (the doubt).”

The star added: “It really makes me feel crappy. It’s soul destroying, but there’s nothing I can do to change their minds, so I had to separate myself. I would like to talk to them, but they are so angry, so I can’t do anything anymore.”

Britain has talent airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
