Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson team up for ‘Olympic Highlights’ series for Peacock

Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson are taking their comedy to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games. Peacock has ordered an eight-episode series of Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson, a commentary series in which the comedy duo share the best and most unexpected moments of the Play summarizes.

The series will roll out 2-3 episodes per week beginning July 26 on Peacock, the same day as the Opening Ceremony. According to Peacock, Hart and Thompson will be unique guides through the Paris Olympics, covering a mix of Olympic-themed competitions, in-studio conversations and interviews.

Hart and Thompson will serve as hosts and executive producers.

“We can’t wait to be part of the Paris Olympics and help hype the crowd with highlights from the best moments of the Games,” Hart said. “We’re going for gold, everyone!”

Thompson added: “Kev and I are super excited to be part of the Paris Olympics by recapping the achievements of some of the world’s best athletes. Let’s go, Team USA!”

Hart and Thompson have worked together before 2022 Make that year complete again for Peacock, which took an unflinching, unfiltered look at the biggest moments of 2022 in pop culture, social media, politics and sports.

Hart previously joined Snoop Dogg for a Olympic highlights series for Peacock for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. The Games were scheduled for 2020 but were postponed due to the pandemic.

In addition to Hart and Thompson, Bryan Smiley, Jeff Clanagn, Luke-Kelly-Clyne, Kevin Healey and David Nickoll serve as executive producers on the series. JC Del Barco serves as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat and directed by Leslie Small.
