Prince Harry ‘has effectively lost most physical contact with his loved ones’, says expert

Prince Harry ‘has effectively lost most physical contact with his loved ones’, says expert

Prince Harry has lost contact with his family and it will be difficult to repair the broken bond, an expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex now face many hurdles if they hope to ever rejoin the royal fold, especially if it were in a working capacity. Royal correspondent Cameron Walker gave his damning assessment of their chances while discussing the possibility.

He said: “In terms of the Windsor family, there may be a situation where – if there is a lot of reconciliation and a lot of talking – they can come to some kind of agreement, or at least be a little bit more civil than perhaps is the case. In terms of becoming a working member of the royal family again, I don’t think it’s down to King Charles – just look at the polls of Harry and Meghan on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Speaking as co-host of GB News’ podcast The Royal Record alongside Royal Editor Svar Nanan-Sen, he continued: “Let’s talk about the UK for a moment. They have consistently been at the bottom of the list, since the publication of the Netflix series and Harry’s memoir Spare, of the royal family – apart from Prince Andrew, who ranks slightly lower.”

He then highlighted how their lack of popularity with the public makes it even harder for them to be welcomed back into the family. He added: ‘That’s a big problem because if they become working members of the Royal Family again, it is the taxpayers – we as the public – who would have to pay for their security, staff travel and all the rest. “

He also stressed that it seems highly unlikely that “Meghan will want to become a working member of the Royal Family again, as she clearly hated it so much last time. She spoke about it extensively during the interview with Oprah Winfrey,” adding that he doesn’t. “I don’t see that happening.”
