Prince Harry believes Meghan Markle and children are not safe in UK as they are constantly reminded of Diana’s death: Royal family experts

Prince Harry is reluctant to bring his children, Archie and Lilibet, to the UK, according to GB News. In a recent podcast, Cameron Walker and Digital Editor Svar Nanan-Sen discussed this and Harry’s case against the Home Office.

Prince Harry lost his police protection in the UK after he stepped down as a royal in 2020. The Duke of Sussex is now challenging this in court. Cameron argued that Harry is reluctant to bring his children to the UK because of the lack of taxpayer-funded protection.

“If you remember in the Netflix documentary series, Meghan talked very openly and emotionally about this topic, about the fear she had for the safety of her family. She would check all the doors in her Montecito home at night and she was also concerned about the safety of her children,” Walker said.

“You can see how passionate Harry is about this and how important it is to him. He’s had a few defeats in court now and he’s still fighting his way through, plus he’s got an appeal coming up,” Nanan-Sen said.

Nanan-Sen said it was clear that the issue was a major concern for them. He also believed that Harry would not take these steps unless he planned to visit the UK more often with his family. Nanan-Sen stressed that Harry clearly felt it was important to bring his family.

“Well, that’s the crux of it, because Harry’s case is that he doesn’t feel safe. He doesn’t feel that his family are safe when they’re in the UK because they don’t have Metropolitan Police officers with them,” Walker said.

“Perhaps that is the main reason why Prince Harry is not bringing Meghan, Archie and Lilibet to the UK. He cannot guarantee their safety, he reportedly says.

Lady Diana connection

Walker stated that he believed Prince Harry was constantly reminded of what had happened to his mother, Lady Diana, since August 31, 1997.

He pointed out that she had chosen not to use security and had no police protection when she died in the car crash in Paris. Walker suggested that this had a major impact on Prince Harry, making him afraid to bring his family to the UK.
