Susan Sarandon’s daughter defended her ‘scandalous’ wedding dress after critics complained about it.

Mother of three Eva Amurri, 39, tied the knot with chef Ian Hock on Saturday. She wore a bustier-style wedding dress by Kim Kassas when she tied the knot in New York.

Actress Eva shared snaps from her special day online and seemed to be in high spirits with life. But when some fans slammed the dress for being too revealing, she captioned it with a close-up of her cleavage, “For anyone shocked that my boobs aren’t ‘hidden’… feel free to screenshot this for later,” along with a kiss emoji.

Eva purchased the dress at Bridal Reflections in New York City and said she thought the dress had the “perfect” balance of “sensual and elegant.”

Of her decision to wear the dress, she told People, “I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress struck the perfect balance.” She added, “I love that it has a vintage feel and is ultra-feminine without being too puffy.”

However, fans on Instagram weren’t convinced the dress was appropriate. One wrote: “Am I the only one who’s attention is elsewhere?” Another said: “This is way too much for a wedding!” And someone else seemed bewildered by the dress, asking: “What the hell is going on here?” followed by a shocked emoji.

The dress certainly turned heads, though it didn’t stay pristine white for long. After the ceremony, Eva shared a photo of the dress’s train, which had gotten wet on the floor, with the caption: “Having the best attitude in the world about her dress looking like this.”

After the wedding, the actress slipped into another eye-catching design by Kim Kassas — a minidress featuring a feather embellishment and lace. She paired the dress with a pair of sneakers, telling the publication, “I paired it with custom Nike Air Force Ones that were embellished with pearls and our wedding date. It felt like Priscilla Presley-meets-street style!”
