New Delhi: Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan will be honoured with Pardo alla Carriera Ascona-Locarno Tourism at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. The award will be presented to the 58-year-old star for his remarkable contribution to Indian cinema by working in over a hundred films, spanning multiple genres. The actor will receive the award on the evening of Saturday, 10 August at Piazza Grande.

In addition, there is an important film from Shah Rukh’s career: Devdasdirected by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, will be screened at the festival and SRK will be at the Forum @Spazio Cinema on Sunday, August 11 for a conversation open to the public.
